Faculty training for online teaching through Lynda @ UVa  (Netbadge login required).  These four courses provide a foundation for those who want to learn more about online teaching.  Follow-on sessions are available both for overview of online classes and workshop style sessions to create, address questions and enhance your online class.

 Online Learning Consortium (OLC) Certifications, workshops and more

Certification for Online Teaching.  This certification from OLC provides a solid foundation for creating high quality online classes.  It has value both to you as an online teacher and provides recognized credentials that can support your career.

 New to Online Series. This series provides an overview of online teaching through a series of three workshops with each one being just a week long. In addition to the high quality of OLC workshops, the one week workshops allow you to experience the online class environment one week at a time.  This series is a great introduction to online teaching and provides a path to enter the Online Teaching Certificate Program for those that do not meet the online teaching time requirement.
