Division of Student Affairs

Student life at The University of Virginia's College at Wise extends far beyond the classroom. Exciting athletic events, hearty intramural competition, leadership and mentoring opportunities, and a variety of clubs and organizations all contribute to the rich UVA Wise experience.

MISSION
The mission of the Division of Student Affairs is to provide services, programs, facilities, and learning opportunities that enhance the academic experience of the student and encourage intellectual, physical, cultural, moral, and social growth to augment individual development.

DIVISION OF STUDENT AFFAIRS
The Division of Student Affairs works to offer students a wealth of extracurricular activities that support the academic experience.  The units and their leaders include: C. Bascom Slemp Student Center, Collegiate Ministries, Greek Life, Housing & Residence Life, Student Engagement, Student Rec (Intramurals, Student Activities & Outdoor Recreation), and Student Conduct & Responsibility.
