Apple Teacher Certification

Apple Teacher is a free professional learning program designed to support and celebrate educators using Apple products for teaching and learning. As an educator you can build skills on iPad and Mac that directly apply to activities with your students, earn recognition for the new things you learn, and be rewarded for the great work you do every day.

The Apple Teacher program provides several different badges across multiple subject areas, but UVA Wise faculty are expected to complete, at minimum, the “iPad Skills Badge”. The assessment is available via the Apple Teacher website and will require an Apple ID. If you do not have an Apple ID or forgot your password, you can visit appleid.apple.com to create a new account or reset your password.

Follow these Steps to Earn Your iPad Skills badge: 

Visit https://appleteacher.apple.com and log in using your Apple ID and password.

Choose: “Learn Skills for iPad” under the heading “Learn and Earn”.

You may review basic information on how to navigate your iPad by choosing any of the tutorial icons as shown on your iPad:

Then, click the last icon “Earn your badge”, scroll down, and take the quiz.

To earn the badge, you will need to answer 3 out of 5 questions correctly about using an iPad.
